Planning a Wedding in Nassau: A Photographer's Guide

Plan around the light

Island sun is strong at midday. For soft, glowing portraits, schedule your couple session in the last hour or two before sunset — the golden hour.

If your ceremony is outdoors, an afternoon start keeps faces free of harsh shadows and guests comfortable.

Build in breathing room

Add fifteen to twenty minutes of buffer between getting ready, the first look, and the ceremony. Calm timelines create relaxed, natural photographs.

Share your schedule with your photographer early so every important moment is covered.

Choose locations with meaning

Beaches, historic streets and resort gardens all offer different moods. Pick one or two spots that feel like you rather than trying to visit everywhere.
